H. Palmer Hall lived in San Antonio, TX with his wife Susan and son Stephen. He was the library director and taught English at St. Mary's University. He had edited one previous book, A Measured Response, and co-edited another, The Librarian in the University. While in the Army, he was a Vietnamese interpreter/translator in Viet Nam from 1967-1968. His most recent book is +From the Periphery: Poems and Essays+.
Palmer passed away on 9 February, 2013
