My wife and I stand before the WALL in the brotherhood of sorry
for I cry over lost friends and she cries for the love she hold
for me for I came home alive so she could have.
My wife and I stand before the Wall as one looking at the names of friend's
who stand in the brotherhood of death for they never came home
to there love one's but I did.
My wife and I stand before the Wall proud to have know them
for they shall always stand high in the brotherhood of
our hearts.
My wife and I shall one day stand before the Wall with our child
so she may touch the chisel face and know the names of
boyhood friends who stand before us in the shadows.
For the shadows are all that is left for me to re-memory for I can
no longer re-memory their faces only the shadows of bygone
days of death and sorry.
