Message is: Floyd Washington - nickname Speedy. I am the sister of Mike Walters who lost his life in Nam on July 28, l969. From Mike's letters Speedy was hurt sometime in May. Mike sent several pictures of Speedy home and was mentioned in lots of his letters. I am the sister of Mike Walters and am the only one left in the family. I would really like to find Speedy and be able to talk to him. I have 2 sons and I would like to pass on as much about Mike to them as possible. And more than anything else, I need to connect with Speedy as he was so important to Mike. Mike served with Golf Co., 2nd Battalion, 5th Regiment, lst Marine Division. Mike was in Nam in July of 68 and was hurt on the 3rd of July in 69. He was moved to a hospital in Japan and lost his fight on July 29, l969.
