I do know that John was with my brother up until shortly before Richard Mark O'Neal (my brother) was killed in an accident on July 26, 1968. He and John were very close. John contracted Malaria at some point, and I believe he was sent to a hospital. John and I were pen pals for the two months that my brother served, before his untimely death. John and I lost contact. He was tired of the war and didn't know what to do so she hideD him for a while... Later on an young german military came for the same thing so she hided him . My grand -mother is dead now , but her husband still alive .I don't have any name it was in a really small village in Normandy. Message is: Dockery was a buddy of my father's, Roscoe N. Henthorne, JR. I'm not sure what Daddy's nicname was in the USMC but he was called "Slim" in the years shortly after he was discharged.
