Message is: I met Jim Holzer in Cincinnati in 1985 at a place called Burgundy's. He told me he was in the Marine's and after a couple of dates, he told me he was actually AWOL. Being the fact that my father was a Marine, I thought a person with a dishonerable discharge was not someone who I wanted to associate with, so I convinced him to return and face whatever punishment was in store for him. I believe he went back and served his time, but after a few letters from him in jail, I no longer heard from him. I have always wondered about where he was and what he was up to now. If you can tell me whether or not this person ever actually WAS at Camp LeJeune or Parris Island I would really appreciate any information you can give me about where he was from or where he may be now.
