Message is: As a teenager, I wore a P.O.W. bracelet representing Capt. William Lawrence, captured 6-28-67. (Unfortunately, that is the extent of the information I have.) At the end of the war, newspaper articles announced the return of P.O.W. vets and listed the individuals as well. A helicopter there on a medevac mission waiting to load wounded received 50 shrapnel holes, several men were wounded, including one crewman. Several litter-bearers were wounded and one, Sgt. Geo.
