Message is: I'm former USMC SGT H. R. "Goose" Gausman and I served with JR Johnson at Quang Tri in 1969 and 1970. We were Air Traffic Controllers in MATCU-69. JR was from Milwaukee, Wisconsin and when we returned from Viet Nam I was stationed at MCAS Beaufort, SC and JR was stationed in California (I believe at El Toro or Santa Anna). He should have been discharged from the USMC in March or April 1971. We lost touch with one another and myself and another of my USMC buddies (Jim Adair) have not been able to locate James Randall Johnson since.
