He is approximately 66 years old (b-day December 30th) and served in the USN on the USS Enterprise I believe from approximately 1960 to 1970. I know he was still enlisted when I was born in 1969 and my older sister was christened on the Enterprise. He was born in Colorado to Theodore and Cleo Benavidez, married to Judi (Miller) Benavidez who died in 1995. He was a truck driver most of his life. He has four tattoos on his arms one on each side of his forearms; the Roadrunner, Coyote, two doves with my mother's name and a USN with his nickname "BENNY". My sister, Theresa, and I have not been able to locate him since 2002. At that time he was at the Portland VA medical center in Portland, OR diagnosed with sever dementia. The VA cannot provide me with any information regarding him because I do not have a SSN or VA number. There was a listing for him in Co! lton, OR which has been disconnected and I know he's been in and out of care homes in the WA / OR area. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
