Message is: I am searching for anyone that may remember a mess cook named Donald Ahlborn, about 6ft tall, blonde hair....he was an E-3, worked in the commissary, was #2 man on #1 hose for firefighting, was off the farm in Wisconsin...."Farmboy".... He remembers two other cooks one named Augustine and another named Chris....He thinks they were brothers?? There was a guy named Bernie, another cook, in the bunk below him.... He used to make great pancakes and still does!!! If anyone knew him or knew of him, at all.... PLEASE contact me. Would like to get a few of his shipmates together with him.... PLEASE EMAIL ME ASAP..... His birthday is in early Feb. would like to surprise him!!!
