Has it really been twenty years
since we finally pulled out?
It seems likes only yesterday
we questioned what it was about.
When our country said "it's time to go!"
That is just what they did.
It didn't matter to the draft board
that they were only kids.
During those many, many years,
too many young lives were lost.
Why did they let it go on for so long,
while letting our boys pay the cost?
Today, please stop and remember
all the sacrifices they made...
Don't let their deaths mean nothing...
Don't let their memory fade.
