My station was Phu hiep, a small Army base between Vung Ro Bay and Tuy Hoa air base.I started as a peremeter guard and than started with a P.O.L. outfit.(petrolium, oil lubrecants)We basically kept the jet fuel, JP4, flowing from Vung Ro Bay to Tuy Hoa air base.This JP4 flowed through an exposed pipeline whitch was blown apart often by Charlie, and sabotaged by civilians almost daily. So it was quite a job keeping the jets in Tuy Hoa supplied.
