Message is: I am a friend of John Claudio, he has cancer and is terminally ill. He gave me a number a long time ago to contact his family if anything should happen to him. I called the number in New Jersey City, NJ and it was no good. All I know is that he did 2 tours in vietnam and his father was Post Master in the town they lived in, which I think is in New Jersey. His daughter is a lawyer in New York and his brother is name Joseph. He is very ill and is in a nursing home in Texas. One of our best friends during this time 83-87 was an US-GI named John D. Mulvaney (Mulvany?). We spend a lot of time in a Pub named "Eddy's", cause John lived right above the Pub. Later he moved to a flat in "Heidestreet",Frankfurt.His age might be 55-58 years, and he is probably still in service. His last visit was in 1987 or 1988 in my appartment. He then was stationed in Brussels. I know that he was in NAM, so i'm trying this attempt to find him. I think his family is from Savannah. I went to Louisville High School in Woodland Hills and College at Mount St. Mary's College. I think his parents moved to Rhode Island or to the east coast and I have not been able to find any member of his family. I lost track of him in 1970 and have been looking for him for a long time.
