Message is: My father, Archie F. Forsyth Jr., served with the 5th Division 61st Infentry in Vietnam during 1970 -1971. I am looking for some of his battle buddies that served with him. My father was not able to get their addresses before he left because they sent him to Austrilla for two weeks. When he got back to Vietnam the Division gave the firebase back to South Vietnam and went back to Ft. Carson. My father left a week later because his tour was up. Message is: What I am looking for is information you may have on two choppers getting shotdown sometime between April 5, 1968 and April 5 1969 defending Engineer Hill, Pleiku Vietnam. I witnessed two choppers shot down while we were under attack one night. I was on Engineer Hill and we were receiving heavy mortar and rocket fire just before the ground assault. Later after the choppers were shot down; napalm was dropped.
