Message is: Looking for people from delta co. 2nd Bat who served in the field during feb. thru sept 1970. im suffuring from agent orange and tryng to find the rest of you to see how you are doing. so far ive got paper work showing that they sprayed where we where twice in july of 1970. and that was just withen 8 miles of lz english now trying to get the reports for where we where during june thru august. we drank it from the stream and then when we were ran out of our company night logger position we woke up covered head to toe. how are the rest of you doing? the ends of my bones are now crumbing just like the tree and plant life did right after they were sprayed. have found other guys (21) that where with different units and they are having the same problems. we all have one thing in commom we drank from stream that where sprayed or went thru area's that where sprayed. hope all of you are doing fine since are goverment will not do anything for us at all other than pills and new joints (titanium) no compinsation at all unless you complained to the va withen 365 days of getting out. i had no simtums till about 3 years after getting home which means i fall out of the requierd time but since i was the company commanders RTO i complained to company headquarters and that might be enought. am in the prosess of getting company and battaion paper work to show that we called in and complained about the problem of being covered head to toe in agent orange. been tod it might be all we need for claims against the va and our goverment, since complaing while we where there should be good as 365 days of coming home. please let me hear from you. need to know if there are any more like me out there. michael klemm ak a maddog

Message is: I know I haven't much to go on, but David Lewis was my best friend through high school in Oroville, CA, and later we attended junior college, and Sacramento State College together. We were roommates, however, I lost track of him after he went to Vietnam, as I became a war protester, and began working for the State of CA., I do know that he was given a medal for bravery while aboard a helicopter gunship. I know his mother, Harriet Lewis, was living in Oakdale, CA., but died many years ago. His sister, Diana married and was living somewhere in the foothills around Sonora. I have tried to find where he might be living (an address) so I can contact him. I had heard at one time, he might be living in the Washington, D.C. area, but that was a number of years ago.
