Message is: My dad, Glenn Eugene Luhnow, was a machine gunner with his unit in Cu Chi for three months before he was killed in action. Obviously he was really green when he was killed and he wasn't there very long but I am hoping to contact somebody out there who remembers him or was just at that place at that time. His CO's name was Lt. James K. Itow and his unit was the Manchumen. It would really mean a lot to me to contact somebody out there who would be willing to talk to me about what it was like at that place. My mother was pregnant with me when my dad was killed so I don't have any memories of him. I would just like to understand this thing that has shaped my life from the very beginning. My dad was from the San Diego area in El Cajon, CA. He was 6' tall and pretty slight with blond hair. His wife was named Sandy, and he liked to surf, play pool and bowl. Message is: This was my father. He died in December 1972. I was only six at the time so I did not know him. I have a couple of memories and some pictures but that's it. Message is: I'm looking for anyone who served with my brother Eddy Nosal, nickname Noz. He was a field medic. I have heard he was in Phu Bai (sp?). Served in the Tet Offensive. Eddy died 12/13/81 from soft tissue carcoma, as did one of his best friends Fred Johnson who was in Nam at the same time. I miss my brother dearly and would appreciate knowing any information on what happened while he was there. He had some major problems when arriving home, but seemed to work them out and was doing well until he got sick. Whatever happened over there changed him tremendously.
