Message is: I'm trying to help my best friend put some pieces together and get some help. He gave me the information above last Saturday. He is really having some problems (mental and physical). He served in the jungles for 8 months. He knows he was hospitalized and thinks it was between April of 1969 and the end of May of 1969. Much of it is a blur. He can't find out what happened to him and why he was hospitalized. He just remembers going in and out of conciousness. He wasn't able to remember his captain name, he just remembered he was a "good Captain". He went In country at Long Binh as a 31B20 (field radio repair). He also told me he as an 11B20 and 11B40. He just wants to put the pieces together of what happened to him. He would like to get the hospital records, talk to some of the guys in his unit, maybe talk to his captain. I just want to help him and help him get the help he deserves.

Message is: I am actually doing this for my husband, Carl. He is especially looking for a Bill Adams who served with him during his 1964-1965 tour of duty. Bill was from Florida and until my husband's first wife destroyed the relationship these two were very close. Bill saved my husband's life by lifting him off of a mine field. Bill tied his feet and others lowered bill from a helicopter down to where my husband was laying. My husband now suffers from PTSD. I feel that finding Bill would bring some closure to his sadness.
