Message is: I'm trying to learn all I can about an incident which took place on the night of June 25, 1966, on Artillery Hill, near Pleiku. That night the 175 guns of the 6th of the 14th were firing when one blew out a breach block. I was an uninvolved eye witness, but the details are, nevertheless, quite sketchy. I remember seeing three guys who were pretty badly injured, though I've since heard that there may have been five guys hurt on that crew. I'm very curious as to what happened to the guys on that gun, I'm hoping that they all made it home alive somehow. I belonged to another group on the hill, the 3rd of the 6th artillery. We were pretty much kept in the dark as to the outcome of those guys, or any of the other details. However, we did hear that all the 175 tubes in the country were shut down for a while after that night. I would like to learn whatever I can about what happened to those guys, and would like to get any information about that incident that anyone can provide. Thanks

Message is: In August or September of 1970 I joined John Harrod, Roger Cahoon, and Tom Lugo in the hills outside of Ankai. It's been so many years I can't even remember how to spell the names. Message is: Sonny was an Army SSG who later became a Spec 5. I feel we were good buddies, but Sonny was having some difficulties at that time. I was an Air Force E-5 and had worked in the MACV Annex in the AG's Foreign Awards & Dec's Office. I'm really not sure which office Sonny worked in, but he was in the building where I worked.
